Only God knows

Wednesday, March 29th, 2006

As my prophecy comes true that my fellows are turning into zombies and so am I
No more hanging around, unnatural laughters, minds flying on every lectures, or am I trying to be dramatic here.
But partly is true
I had it enough, that’s when I tuned parameter for my “other” project. It had taken me 5 days, and no single result or clue at all. I had to try every single point manually. At first u thought it’s fun, but no longer, it’s disastrous.
Paid off or not paid off is another issue, the critical sense is that i am mentally down.:(
I gotta give it a go, but I just lost in a huge forest, and any direction will do.
Yesterday, Victoria announced news around campus that we were supposed to take into account.
Apparently, she retold the story of a guard experiencing the existence of “They Who Must Not Be Named”, then everybody began to contribute own spooky story.
Now I got to think twice to walk out at night. I have been walking around the accomodation and sometimes the roads in the uni “ALONE”, I can not do that very often now.
Ok back to project, I got one more month, but not a full month can be utilized, some portions have to be set aside for the other three assignment, and you know what…I have not even typed a single letter for my report. I know I am doomed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully, everything will finish on time, if not which is a quite a likely chance, I am proud that I have been through many ups and downs, and I have learned a lot about Artificial Inteligence. I always remember what u said ..Aren…that we can see the other side of our efforts. Theoretically yes…but practically hard to comprehend…

Saturday Nite Live

Saturday, March 25th, 2006

Long time desiring for a Pasar Malam, and the time has come. It’s nice to observe things that rarely happen in ur hometown, hawker stalls everywhere selling food, drinks, dvds, vcds, cds, jeans, toys, and bras. Hehehe!

I myself bought some which rite now I am doubtful they can end up in my tummy tonight. But I’ll try, while watching movies to divert the bloated tummy.

I am in the lab, continuing uncertain work. I am not sure what I am doing at the moment. As I glanced to see others sitting in the lab, there are numerous business on their own.

At this point of time,

One is playing Online Mahjong

One is enjoying the video recorded about this uni. I think it’s some sort of foundation students’ assignment.

Quite a number are browsing Friendster

Several are chatting

Most are doing assignment

And the rest are doing the combination of those.

Me, confused, I know what the exact word to describe my position.

Void

I am leaving, have to make a phone call to my parents.

Match Point

Tuesday, March 21st, 2006

How should I interpret match point for my condition rite now ?
Just watched "Match Point" last nite. 2 hours of shortened piece of someone’s life.
You got turning point in ur life, don’t mess it for a lust
After the whole stressed mind, I became to a point that my project is still long way to go, just by the time everything seems went smooth, my supervisor added a new headache, and miraculously, the addition is important to do, and I have no time to do it. Why it was informed so late ?
The bottom line is when you want to state a new thing, you have to compare the new thing with the old thing, otherwise how could one measure one’s idea is better than others..
I hate to say this, but this new thing has to go through series of tests, and I am aware that testing takes almost one third of the enitre project’s life.
I hope I could talk to my supervisor, and explain the reasoning of this.
I know it’s a good thing, but it’s not a good thing in this chaostic moments

Remember, remember, the fifth of November

Saturday, March 18th, 2006

What a hectic day. A full 12 hours off campus.
Arrived in TimesSquare at 12.20, headed straight to GSC counter to redeem tickets , unfortunately our reservation had to be given away as Ghazaleh and Handoyo were joing different movies.
As for information, we watched 2 movies in a row. When I said in a row, there was no gap between them. It’s a marathon.
Though, it’s not a good idea, but we took the risk for not coming back empty-brained.
First movie was a sequel to Underworld which I had watched it like 3 years ago, but nothing was redrawn in mind for the first 30 minutes. Names, terms were familiar but needed fast processing to catch up the plot. In the end, the movie was just OK due to the fact that no suprise factor could be found
With only a 5 minute rest, went on with the second movie : V for Vendetta.
The movie was hillarious at the beginning, but as it got deeper, you realized the character was personated very well by the director. He was different from other superheroes as he claimed a brutal vengeance to anyone who took his life once. Now we could see that to be a hero need not a super power of “superman, spiderman, hulk” or the coolness of “batman”.
V is logical, rational, weaponless, and vincible. He potraits a hero that you and me could be.. Hehehe!
Enuff talking about that, some missions were completed.
Nasa managed to buy the “protector” of his “baby”.
I had enjoyed curry noodle in Alor, which was out of reach since I moved to Semenyih.
Bought some dvds today with different genres
1. Match Point - Drama
2. Keeping Mum - Comedy
3. Hostel - Total Thriller
Lost 20 for those. I hope they are worth watching
And … I had a wonderful weekend … omitted with KTM torturing moments

Don’t let it over

This morning I got ELC lecture, and when it came to an end, the lecturer announced that all of us got at most 5 weeks to complete the assignment. And as a starter, I have not attempted to take a look at the assignment…pity huh..
However, it’s not the thing that I want to pour now…
As if it was yesterday, I begged n begged n begged n on my bended knees asking for my parents to allow me continue my degree in anywhere else but in my hometown, and now I beg n beg n begn n on my bended knees asking for time to slow down a bit..
I have not enjoyed enough my time here..Seems got a lot of things needed to be done in a short period of time.
I have been here for 2 years, and yet never experience the beauty of Redang and the merry Pasar Malam.
I should be grateful to Li Teng and Aren that have taken us to enjoy KL once in a while.
As for 2006, I have not stood on KL, guess this Saturday will be a good time, coz there are 2 movies to catch plus enjoying the nostalgic alor dishes

Red Carpet

The university of Nottingham is welcoming two first class students, Aw@n and Hendra…The identical twin…hehehe!
Congrats to both of them for their dedication to their study and finally they made it.
Now, they are soaring to companies in Singapore. Best of luck to you guys..
Should u guys lead the way to us..hahaha!!Hope so, but I might think three times. Then, it will be another big step and decision again in my life.
Two days hang out with this guys. not much changed. They are still they. Plain and innocent.
Got a really bad cold today..coz not enuff sleep and ate too much ‘hotty’ and ’spicy’ food lately..Dehydration may also one of the factor. All collide in my body.
Thanks to all people who had come to support Nic and I pulled down everything to win the match. But sadly we lost in the first round. But it’s worth playing as we could measure how high we are and how far we have reached.
Thanks to Ling Wei also for helping me buzzing Li Teng’s program

Solitude

Saturday, March 4th, 2006

Wow..I was happy today coz for rare moments I take a look the real world and who are the people.
Thanks to my fellow Imelda for inviting me for a visit to an orphanage house.
The uni guys are so lovely and caring which I find hard the true samples of them back in my hometown.
I kinda sense that Malaysian youngsters are more active, willingly to get involved in societies and associations, and they are hardworking too..That’s what I like from the open-minded Malaysians, no wonder Malaysia has more qualified human resources.
Suddenly, I felt I was in Alor again..Walls..Walls..and Walls..
The others have their fun this weekend
Aren probably hangs out with his friends
Nasa probably now treasuring the Gua Tempurung..Oh how I wish to be there, but I won’t trouble myself at night. I could stay awake til dawn while others snore. Absolutely not a good choice to keep ur eyes and heart open in the middle of jungle…Hahahaha!!!!Not to mention how I am going to pour my ‘toxic’!
Ling Wei probably in Mid Valley watching movie..Gr..Lots of gud movies this month and I am waiting your DVDs, Ling Wei!!!
Li Teng, this gal probably has the most joyful holiday in Sabah rite now. Never been to, but want to !
Seems that my friends have a good time ..Huh!!and I am alone here ..Huahuahua!!!!!!
Never mind catch ya later on Monday!!!

Go International !

Go Go International !
Today’s match showed that you guys could win independently.
Nice work and gud luck for the semi…
Sadly Li Teng can not enjoy tomorrow..Hahaha!!
Why you always attend people’s wedding one?
You are a wedding crasher?Hope not, coz noone looks uglier than your idol..
Somemore give me assignment during your holiday..you must Belanja me makan..
Or at least do not freeze ur leg during the badminton competition.
It seems that there is something in the air again..
Smelling people gets busier each day..We seldom hanging out anymore like we were used to…
where every week we would go, jump, and laugh.
Things get worse as Ling Wei oso concentrates on her second year group project
I can’t imagine what’s going to be for the following month..We are zombies then..Ironic, but it’s real
Now I know why Aw@n did not want to leave this uni so bad.
Everything here is to be missed……!
